Changes to Suvarnabhumi (VTBS) Procedures on 3 September 2026 Overview On 3 September 2026, AIRAC 2609 was effective. For VTBS, updated Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs) and RNAV Approach procedures were introduced. SIDs All SIDs suffixes have been updated to the number 3 for jet aircraft. Propeller SIDs remain unchanged. Runway 02L / 02R Eastbound traffic for SELKA, LIPLI and DOSBU now branch off from BS146 instead of ASANI. No changes to all propeller SIDs. South flow Runway 19 Traffic now initially turn toward BS950 then branches off to BS951 and BS954. GORSI/GOMES bound traffic now branches off from BS923 instead of ~BS951. Runway 20L / 20R All eastbound traffic now directly turn from BS940 instead of branching off BS934. STARs STARs have also been updated to the suffix number of 2 . Initial STAR Fix North flow (Runway 01, 02L and 02R) South flow (Runway 19, 20L and 20R) EASTE 2D 2C TUMGA LEBIM NORTA WILLA North flow BS422 and BS423 have been added. They can be used for sequencing. Southflow BS522 has been added and could be used for sequencing. Approaches Runway 19, 20L and 20R ILS Z and RNP Z Initial Fix (IF) altitudes were updated. However, the altitudes at subsequent fixes remain unchanged. (LOTMU for 19 -> 2000ft / REVMO 20L -> 3000ft / OSEVA 20R -> 3000ft), so there is no change for vectoring.
